Below is the official press release concerning the newest available publication of the Swords & Wizardry Core Rules RPG. It is still available as a free PDF download, but now with a few necessary corrections and clarifications..and LOADS of new artwork by various and talented artists. I've downloaded mine, and it looks fantastic!

Swords & Wizardry is an OGL “retro-clone” of the original fantasy roleplaying game created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson. The Core Rules also contain some selected material from the supplements (1974-1978). With a thriving internet community and tons of support products, Swords & Wizardry is bringing back a lost style of fantasy roleplaying. Forget huge rulebooks - just play. If you can imagine it, you can do it in Swords & Wizardry. The rules are simple and quick to learn, and they are infinitely flexible and expandable. Take the basic framework and “Imagine the heck out of it!”
